Born in Norway in 1863, Edvard Munch’s life was a tumultuous one. His most iconic painting, The Scream (1893), has come to reflect the turmoil individuals face in present times. Munch, however, conceived the painting during one of his walks when he ‘heard the enormous, infinite scream of nature’. He then proceeded to create multiple prints of the same.
